ReplyDelete@evan
ReplyDeletehello evan ,
please check quest. 39 of r series booklet....unpolarised light....
its answer is (b) 33.4 degree
not 56.7 degree
please give me a hint about quest. 4 (changes sign underexchnage of x & y)
, quest. 29 (ground state of harmonic oscillator)
quest 38(rms error)
urs all other questions are perfect.
best of luck

anyone set r,perfect answers for part b q28,26,46,48..
ReplyDelete@prashant for one dimensional harmonic oscillator he has given 5 particles and he said spin - 1/2
ReplyDeleteso they are fermions
he has not mentioned the spin state
so 2 particles for one state so,
(2hw/2+6hw/2+5hw/2)=13hw/2

ReplyDeleteall the ans quoted here for spatial part of two-electron state is (c) which wrong, correct ans is (d) becoz itz a symmetric state.
Can anyone please tell me that when is the result expected & hw much marks is the good enough to get admission..kindly tell soon
ReplyDelete@Nagendra Shiwakoti Ans to probability question is 1/9 because they ask for positive diff. between two numbers.
